Infidelity Testing

When trust is broken, uncertainty can weigh heavily on any relationship. Our Infidelity Testing service is designed to bring clarity, honesty, and peace of mind to both parties through a confidential, professional, and unbiased Polygraph examination.

What’s Involved
Each infidelity test session takes approximately 3–4 hours and follows a structured, transparent process:
- Initial Briefing – The session begins with a detailed discussion to understand the context and concerns. This ensures that all parties are comfortable and fully informed about the process.
- Test Design – Together with the Polygraph examiner, you’ll design and agree upon the specific test questions. Only questions relevant to the issue at hand are included, and both parties have the opportunity to review them.
- The Examination – The test is conducted in a calm, private environment. Our Polygraph examiner ensures every participant is treated with dignity and fairness, providing each person a chance to disclose information before testing begins.
- Results & Feedback – Findings are discussed verbally within an hour of the test.
- Formal Report – A comprehensive written report is delivered within 24-48 hours, providing an objective summary of the findings.
Questions and answers
What happens if I don’t agree with the results?
If you’re unhappy with the outcome or believe the results may be inaccurate, they can be quality checked by an independent reviewer through the South African Professional Polygraph Association (SAPPA) at an additional cost.
What is the Polygraph examiner's role in the process?
Our examiner’s role is to remain neutral, professional, and objective at all times. They facilitate the test, interpret the data, and present results — without bias, judgment, or influence from either party.
Are you independent and unbiased?
Yes. Polyventures operates as an independent and non-judgmental service provider. We do not take sides and approach each case with confidentiality, empathy, and respect.
What’s the difference between lie detection and truth verification?
While “lie detection” focuses on identifying deception, truth verification focuses on confirming honesty. Our process is based on physiological responses that indicate stress or relief — allowing us to determine whether a person is being truthful, rather than simply seeking lies.
How accurate is a Polygraph test?
Modern Polygraph technology and trained examiners achieve accuracy levels of up to 95% under proper testing conditions. While not admissible in all legal contexts, it remains one of the most reliable tools for verifying truthfulness.
Will the test make someone confess?
Our goal is not to intimidate, but to encourage honesty and openness. Many individuals choose to disclose information voluntarily during the process — an important step toward resolution.
What are the costs involved?
- R3,850 – Single party tested
- R5,350 – Both parties tested
Each session includes consultation, question design, testing, verbal feedback, and a full written report. Tests are held in neutral office spaces at Cradlestone Mall, rented privately for each session which is included in the price.
Travel charges may apply for testing conducted at other premises.
